Record a match for your Organization (home and away)

Any Owner, Admin, Coach, or Full member can record a match for the Organization, from the web app or from the phone. The match is stored with the Organization and still shows up in each player’s own record.

Steps

1. With the Organization selected, go to Matches and click + (on the phone, start a New Match with the Organization selected).
2. The New Match wizard has three steps: Info, Format, Result. On Info, Record to shows the Organization. That’s what makes it an Organization match.
3. Pick Player 1 and Player 2 from your members and Guests, or switch on Doubles for four. Use Ladder if the match counts toward one of your ladders.
4. Set the Date, Start Time, and Court. If the court is at your home location, the match is marked Home; anywhere else is Away.
5. Switch on Track Live to score point by point as the match happens. Leave it off to enter the final result on the Result step when the match is over.
6. Choose the Format, then Save.

Good to know

• Home and away come from your Location settings: the location marked Home is home, everything else is away. Set that up under Location before your first away match.
• Guests on the spot. If the opponent isn’t in your Organization yet, add them as a Guest from the player picker rather than as a member.
• Who can record. Owner, Admin, Coach, and Full members can all record and enter results; the recorder does not have to be one of the players. View members can’t.
• Live tracking counts the same as a logged result for rankings and ladders; it just adds the point-by-point detail and, on point-level styles, the Match Profile and video replays.
• Personal vs Organization. If you meant to record to your personal account, switch accounts in the user menu before starting the match. Record to is set by which account is selected.
