Add a Guest opponent (no account needed)

Schools play other schools; club members play visitors. A Guest lets you log those matches so your players’ records and rankings are complete, without making the opponent a member.

Steps

1. Go to Members and click the + next to the heading.
2. Switch to the Guest Opponent tab.
3. Enter the player’s first and last name and save. No email, no invite.
4. When you record a match, the Guest appears in the player picker alongside your members.

Guests are listed on the Members page with the Guest badge; use the Guest filter to see only them.

Good to know

• Free. Guests never count toward your bill.
• Results only. A Guest can be in a match result but not in a ladder, tournament, practice, group, or event. If a Guest joins your program, convert them to Full from their row and they keep their history.
• Rankings. A match against a Guest counts for your member’s record and ELO; the Guest gets a record inside your Organization too, which is why the same outside player should be one Guest, not several.
• Members can add Guests from the phone when recording a match for the Organization, so a coach at an away match doesn’t have to wait for an admin.
