Track a match live and broadcast to your network

Use the Live Tracker to score a match as it happens: the score, who’s serving, and how each point ended. You can let the people who care follow along in real time, or keep it to yourself.

Steps

Step 1: Start a match with Track Live on

Tap +, choose Match, and pick the players. Turn on Track Live. A live match skips the Result step, because there’s no score yet.

Step 2: Choose your tracking style

On Format, choose the scoring rule and how much you want to track. Smashpoint has five tracking styles, and every one of them produces a complete result:

• Games: enter games and sets as they finish. The fastest way to a shareable result.
• Points: tap who won each point. Live score, momentum, and pressure points.
• Serve & Points: add first or second serve, aces, and double faults.
• Point Outcomes: tag how each point ended (winner, forced error, unforced error) and which wing.
• Full shot tracking: everything above plus serve and shot placement. The complete Match Profile.

The tracker starts on the style you last chose under My Settings. If it’s your first time, start with Games or Points. You can go deeper next match.

Step 3: Start tracking

Start tracking to open the Live Tracker. Tell it who is serving first; scoring unlocks once you do. Then score the match in the style you chose.

Step 4: Switch Live on to broadcast

A match you track is private by default. To let others follow along, switch Live on in the tracker’s header. It streams point by point as it happens. Anyone connected to you sees it inside the app. For everyone else, share the match’s public web page: grandparents and teammates follow from the link, no account needed.

Tracking a match never broadcasts it on its own: nothing is shared unless you switch Live on.

Step 5: Finish the match

When the match ends, finish it. It’s saved with the rest of your matches, with a Match Profile that shows as much as you tracked.

• The Live Tracker needs Pro. Your 7-day trial includes it.
• Apple TV is free. Watch live and completed matches on the big screen; viewing never needs Pro.
