What is Smashpoint?
Smashpoint is a racquet sport platform that turns a tennis match into data you can use. You track a match, from a plain final score all the way up to every shot, and Smashpoint gives you back a Match Profile, an ELO rating, a head-to-head record against every opponent, and video of the points that decided it. Players, the parents and trackers who score their matches, and coaches all connect around the same match. Clubs, schools, academies, and federations run their rosters, rankings, ladders, and tournaments on top of it.
Everything is private by default. Nothing you record is visible to anyone until you connect with a person or deliberately share a match.
Who it’s for
- Players log their own results, or score a match live from the Apple Watch, and get a rating and a record that reflect how they actually play.
- Parents and trackers score a match courtside, let family follow it live, and see the story behind the score.
- Coaches get point-by-point data on every player they train, rank a squad in a Group, and record the big points on video.
- Organizations (clubs, schools, academies, federations) manage members and roles, run ladders and tournaments, schedule practices, and compare players, with PRO included for every member who plays.

Where it runs
- iPhone and iPad: the full app, including the Live Tracker and video replays.
- Android: the full app, including the Live Tracker and video replays.
- Apple Watch: score your own match from your wrist while you play. It syncs to your phone.
- Apple TV: the live scoreboard and replays on the big screen. Pair it once with the code the TV shows.
- Web app (app.smashpoint.pro): your matches, stats, and rankings in a browser, plus the admin surface for Organizations.
Every match, rating, and roster syncs across all of them the moment it’s saved.
How a match becomes data
- Track it. Pick one of five tracking styles, from Games (just the score as games finish) up to Full shot tracking. Every style produces a complete, shareable result; the more you track, the fuller the Match Profile.
- Follow it. Switch a match to LIVE and anyone connected to the player follows point by point in the app. Share the match’s public page for everyone else.
- Record the big points. With a point-level style, the tracker is prompted at set points, match points, and break points to record the next point on video. The clip is saved against that point.
- Read it. The saved match has Info, Analysis, Patterns, Stats, and History tabs. The Match Profile shows Aggression Ratio, wing balance, how points ended, and Clutch Delta (how the player did on the points that decide games versus everything else).
- Rate it. Every completed match moves the players’ ELO ratings and updates their head-to-head. Groups and Organization rankings update at the same moment.
What’s free and what’s Pro
Following, viewing, and connecting are always free: matches, stats, rankings, head-to-heads, Match Profiles, replays shared with you, and Apple TV. Recording matches is Pro, for yourself or for anyone you track for: logging matches and practices, the Live Tracker on phone or watch, creating Groups, and MCP Access.
Every new personal account gets a 7-day trial of every feature, then switches to View mode (everything stays visible; new results need Pro). Every new Organization gets a 14-day trial with no credit card, and members who play have Pro included. Prices are on the Pricing page.
