What’s free and what needs Pro

Smashpoint has one simple line: looking is free, recording is Pro.
Always free
- Creating an account and connecting with players, parents, and coaches
- Following matches live, in the app or from a shared match page
- Viewing every match, stat, Match Profile, ELO rating, ranking, and head-to-head you have access to
- Watching video replays shared with you
- Smashpoint on Apple TV (it’s viewing, so it’s free)
- Adding players and courts to your account
- Being a View member of an Organization
Needs Pro
- Logging match or practice results, for yourself or for anyone you track for
- Using the Live Tracker on the phone or the Apple Watch, including courtside for someone else’s match
- Creating Groups
- MCP Access (asking Claude or another AI agent about your own match data)
Trials
Every new personal account starts with a 7-day trial of every Pro feature. When it ends, the account switches to View mode: everything you recorded stays visible, you can still add players and courts, but new match or practice results need Pro.
Every new Organization starts with a 14-day trial of every feature, no credit card required.
Pro included with an Organization
If you’re a member of a club, school, academy, or federation that runs on Smashpoint, and your role is one that can play (Owner, Admin, Coach, or Full), you have Pro for as long as you’re a member. You don’t need a personal subscription.
Good to know
- Apple Family Sharing. Pro bought through the App Store is shared with everyone in your Apple Family, so two parents tracking on two iPhones pay once.
- Nothing is deleted when a trial ends or a subscription lapses. Your data waits for you.
- Prices are on the Pricing page at smashpoint.pro/pricing; this article doesn’t repeat them so it never goes out of date.
